UA has a policy that governs all payments made to students. This also covers purchases made for the benefit of a student. Departments are NOT allowed to purchase personal materials such as textbooks or other goods for students using UA p-cards. Any purchase or payment made on behalf of or to a student must flow through the students financial account with Student Account Services. These types of benefits must be counted as a resource for Federal Aid purposes and they must be reported on a student’s 1098-t document for the IRS. Please do not use your P-Card to purchase such items.
